Question

well i know lot of people have lot of people have many questions about the Roman Catholic church... some people who is christian, strangely, said that catholic church is not a christian?????? hahaha... commonly we said that we are either a catholic or a protestant but i do heard people asking other are u a christian or catholic????? hahahaha... here i m going to share a bit only about my church.. it is good to have something to learn, right? hahaha...

1. Catholic worship Mary???
this is the most common question people ask about catholic... they wondering why there is rosary, why there is portrait of the statue of Mary in the church, etc... well we catholic do not worship Saint Mary rather we respect her because she is the mother of our Lord Jesus. Jesus himself respect her and called him woman (it is an honour for a woman to be called woman because in Hebrew when we called some one woman she is well respected). we pray to her not worship her. i am sure that everyone know the wedding feast of cana where Jesus change the water into wine.. from this event we can clearly see that Jesus himself listen to her mother wish although he said, "My hour has not come yet." (refer John 2: 1-11). so this is why we always pray to Mother of God to help us so that our wish will be granted, not by her instead it is through her...

2. Catholic worship statue????
well i admit there is statue in catholic church but i can say that we do not worship the statue... in the ten commandment we are told to worship the one true god. so it is a very big sin if we worship the statue same as the Catholic Church we do not do statue... in the bible there is no place saying that no statue is allowed in the church or the temple of god.. go and find u will not find it.. but however you will find that god command the use of statue.. get it clear not to worship the statue but to use it.. in the bible you can see that the god ask people to make the cherubim (a golden statue). i am not lying it is proven in the bible. refer the book of Exodus 25:18-20. besides that in 1 Chr. 28:18–19 and Ezekiel 41:17–18 you can see that the use of statue. although all this is found in the Old Testament but in New Testament Jesus didn't say that the use of statue is forbidden and besides that 10 commandments also found in the Old Testament but yet we still use it... we use the statue in our church to represent Jesus or the other saints... Jesus himself is the visible god of the the invisible god.. the statue can serve as the reminder to god... it do help us in our prayer. but we do not pray to statue but we pray to god...

3. Purgatory??
Catholic believe the presence of purgatory... what is purgatory?? it is found in the bible?? purgatory is the place where soul undergo purification... we man sometime are not too bad to go hell.. for some sin we did are not too bad that we are thrown in to the hell. Remember God is a Loving and Justice God. for every sin that we did we need to repent.. so in purgatory we undergo purification before we go to heaven.. in this context we can see that purgatory is not a place where there is no salvation.. because Lord love us he did not throw us to hell because of the some sin we did. going to purgatory does not mean that we are not forgiven for the sin we did rather because our sin is forgiven then the purgatory is exists. "Nothing unclean may come into it: no one who does what is loathsome or false, but only those who are listed in the Lamb's book of life." (Rev 21:27). In book of Maccabees (2 Maccabees 12:38-46) we can see that Judas Meccabees offer an offering to God for the dead soldier(because they sin, they had an idol hide in their cloth). you might said that this custom is not found in the Law of Moses but the problem is that there is no objection too that can be found in the bible elsewhere.. the money is collected and send to Jerusalem where the high priest is there and the place the law is strictly practised. the important thing is that he is not punish for his act and he is very devoted to god. he win that war... in 1 Corinthians 3:11-15, we can see that there is a mention of the fire that burned everyone work and if the work is burned down, the one who did that work is saved but he will suffer because of the fire... this is very clear that purgatory is indirectly described... like concept of Trinity, incarnation, purgatory is not mentioned directly in the bible but if the bible is studied thoroughly we can see that see the bible did teach about the purgatory.

well talk too much already.. if there is any question just ask.. if i made a mistake please correct me.. remember that the church is the pillar of truth and Jesus is always the head of the church...

I want you to know how people ought to behave in God's household -- that is, in the Church of the living God, pillar and support of the truth. ( 1 Timothy 3:15)
